(1) Preparation of materials: electrogastrogram, gauze, paper, electrode, scrub, conductive paste.

(2) Instrument preparation:

   Turn on the computer, connect the gastric electrical instrument, open the electrogastrogram software, add the patient, and save.

(3) Skin preparation:

1. Positioning:

There are three positions: 1 apex, 2 signal electrodes

Apical part: 0.5~1.0cm inside the midline of the left intercostal clavicle

Signal electrode 1: second intercostal space on the right edge of the sternum

Signal electrode 2: right rib arch

2, prepare the skin:

1 shave all the hair in the electrode placement area;

2 Gently rub the marked area with a scrub and gauze to remove dead skin;

3 Wipe the debris and grease in the electrode placement area with a cotton ball with alcohol, dry it for about 1 minute, and ensure that the conductive skin is dry;

4 Apply a small amount of medical conductive paste to the electrode placement area and attach the electrode;

5 to reduce the impedance between the two electrodes to 10kΩ or below, if the skin is not well prepared, EGG may contain serious motion interference;

6 skin preparation is complete.

(4) Patient preparation

   Before the operation, explain the precautions in the operation to the patient: Do not speak, do not move, play mobile phones, listen to music, sleep, etc.

(5) Operation

   Connect the lead and cover the patient with a quilt or clothing to prevent cold.

(6) End of operation: remove the lead, electrode sheets, and make the bed.
